The RSPB Sanctuary is only 7 miles away and the area also has several Red Kite viewing centres. Llandovery is only an hour's car journey to the coast. Carmathen is thirty miles by car, Ammanford and Brecon only twenty miles. Regular bus services will take you about and The Heart of Wales Railway Line goes though Llandovery.
