Beiliglas is home to 'Herbs at Myddfai', growing a range of herbs and native flowers. The garden is managed on organic lines and a wide selection of aromatic, medicinal and culinary herbs are grown.

The legend surrounding the Physicians of Myddfai who inherited their knowledge of herbs from the mythical Lady of Llyn-y-Fan Fach is well known in West Wales and beyond. Today the parish of Myddfai, situated in the NE corner of Carmarthenshire shows little evidence of a distinguished past, but it has inspired Gill Swan to plant a herb garden in memory of the once famous Physicians.
