TO MYDDFAI CYCLE HIRE
BIKE HIRE IN LLANDOVERY, CARMARTHENSHIRE,
WALES
We are a bike hire company located on the
north western tip of the Brecon Beacons National Park, between
the historic market town of Llandovery and Myddfai, the
new Welsh home of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of
Cornwall. The area was once an important, ‘Drovers
Centre’ and you can still find evidence of this today.
Llandovery still has its ruined Norman Castle standing defiantly
on a mound overlooking the town. The town is also ideally
situated on the Heart of Wales railway line.
We have stunning scenery, having the benefit
of both the lush pastures of the Towy Valley and magnificent
dramatic mountain ranges - The Black Mountains, The Cambrian
Mountains and the Brecon Beacons are all right here on our
doorstep !

in the best way possible - on a bike!
Cycling opportunities are endless whether
you wish to go mountain biking or prefer sticking to the
tarmac -
- Take advantage of the many way marked routes in the
locality, both on tarmac and off road.
- Enjoy our quiet country lanes at your own pace.
- Take to the hills with your map and compass if XC riding
is for you.
- For the adrenalin junkies, we have several man made
mountain bike trails in the area.
Some excellent maps are available in the
area specifically for cyclists, offering many ideas for
a fun day out, taking in the fresh country air. Why not
try the ‘Fabulous Fans’ route or the shorter
‘Herbal Healing’ ride? Better still stay the
week and try them all !
We have Trek 4300 bikes, maintained by
a qualified cycle mechanic. We will supply you with a helmet
and lock and can also include a pump, tube and rucksack
if requested.
We take advanced bookings for full day
hire, contact us by phone or e-mail. We also offer part-day/evening
rides when bikes are available but we can’t usually
take advanced bookings for these. However, please feel free
to contact us with your requests and we will do our best
to oblige.
Delivery of bikes to your local address
is often available for a nominal charge. Discounts are offered
for group bookings.
Positive ID will be requested for each
booking eg. Passport or driving licence and will be retained
until the bikes are returned. Payment is accepted in cash
or cheque covered by a guarantee card.
Our normal office hours are -
Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Saturday - 9.00am to 12.00pm
Bank Holidays by appointment.
Bikes may be available for hire outside
these hours if you ring in advance.

the area and we are within walking distance of Erwlon Caravan
