Guide to Prices

Dental Examination

Your teeth, gums and mouth are examined in detail. A note is made of any existing fillings or work that you have previously undertaken.

You may be given advice regarding healthy eating, cleaning your teeth and if needed, advice on how to stop smoking.

During a private consultation, we will discuss your needs and desires in detail. A treatment plan will be agreed upon and you will receive a written copy detailing exactly what is proposed and how much it will cost. Any alternatives discussed will also be listed. You are under no obligation whatsoever to proceed with the proposed treatment.

X-rays

X-rays are often required as an aid to diagnosis. We have one of the latest low dose, digital imaging systems. Using modern digital sensors allows us to take an X-ray using only a quarter of the usual exposure to X-rays required for a traditional film based system. Less radiation means a safer technique.

These are often required for complex or extensive treatment such as advanced cosmetic procedures involving multiple crowns, veneers or bridge work. You will be advised if they are necessary. They are not required for relatively simple treatment plans.
