Local Attractions
There are many places of interest just a short
drive away. Talley with its ruined abbey is just three miles
away, Brechfa Forest and Abergorlech with the biking and hiking
trails is also three miles distant.
The market towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery
are 9 and 12 miles drive respectively. The university town of
Lampeter is 9 miles away.
Within a half hour's drive are the Dolaucothi
Gold Mines, Fly Fishing in the River Cothi and the Dinas RSPB
Reserve renowned for its Red Kites.
The National Botanical Gardens of Wales is
well worth a visit if only to see the largest single-span glasshouse
in the world and the lost garden of Aberglasney is within a
35 minute drive.
You can drive to the coast within an hour or
if you would rather do something more adventurous, you can visit
the Brecon Beacons where you will find pony trekking and many
other activities.
