St Ives Paintings and Cornwall
Paintings
Landscapes and
Seascapes St Ives and Cornwall
I am certainly not alone
and like many artists, when immersed in the rugged and primordial
landscape of Cornwall, I have a tremendous feeling directed towards
some creative and spiritual vitality which this environment is renowned
for and like some electric conductor makes automatic contact with
an inner urge to paint.
St. Ives, artistically and
historically renowned for its “special light,” like
Robert Graves' “White Horse”, is a mandatory command
towards all things abstract, elemental and poetic.
I particularly enjoyed the
artistic license, this series of paintings allowed and are represented
in the Picture
House Galleries, Cornwall and
the Art
House Gallery, St Ives.
